Install a Printer in Windows 7

You have to install Driver Softwares in your computer to connect and work with a printer. So today I'm going to tell you how to do that in windows 7 computer.
First go to Start > Control Panel and open "Devices and Printers". If you couldn't find it select "Large Icons" from the View by drop down menu at the top right corner in Control Panel. Then you can see the Devices and Printers in the list and open it.

Now click "Add Printer" on the toolbar of the devices and printers dialogue box.

Then "Add printer" dialogue box will open and click "Add a local printer"

After that choose the port you have connected printer to computer from the drop down menu under the "Choose a printer port" and click next.
In next step you have to choose the printer drive. So select the name of your printer from the "Manufacture" list and select the model of your printer from "Printers" list.



"Otherwise you can install drivers through Drivers CD that you received with  a printer. But normally all drivers are included in Windows 7."


After the select printer model click next. In this step give a name for the printer and click next. After those steps the printer files will begin to install.

After the installation they ask to share printer. If you won't to share printer select the "Do not share this printer" and click next.
In final step you can set this printer as your default printer by select "Set as the default printer".
Finally click Finish button.
