Recover Hidden Files from the Pen Drive by Virus Attacks

Hello friends, here I came with an important topic that you have to face. ” Virus Attacks” we all are know about this. Normally pen drives are coped to virus attacks rather. According to the topic some of viruses are hidden files from pen drives. We can’t view them by choosing option, Unhide from the Folder Options, because those viruses change the attributes of the files. If we delete the virus, hidden files can't be seen.

To view those virus attacked files, we need to do a small operation using Command Prompt. Let’s see how to do that.

Step 1

First of all connect your virus attacked Pen Drive to computer. Now go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Run. Windows XP users go to Start > Run. Then type cmd and press Enter.

Step 2

Now find the address of the Pen Drive. It may be D: /E: /F: or other. You can find it from my computer. In my computer, my pen drive’s address is F:

Then type address in the Command Prompt and press enter. After the press Enter you can see like below image.

Step 3

Okay, then type below code in the Command Prompt and press Enter.

attrib -s -h /s /d *.*

Type it as I typed with spaces.
After the little time you can see again the windows like above. Now go to your pen drive and see. How is that? Your all hidden files are came back.

I think now you’re known how to get virus attacked hidden files back. This is a small trick and may be most of you already known it before I tell.
